Arco Primo espresso machine in sage green on a light oak countertop next to a simple ceramic cup, a person's hand reaching for the cup, soft morning light, calm and unhurried domestic scene

Is the Arco Primo right for you?

The Primo is our most popular machine for a reason — it makes genuinely good espresso without demanding much from you. But it is not the right machine for everyone, and we would rather help you find the right fit than sell you the wrong one.

Common Questions

Is €299 too much for a first espresso machine?
It depends on what you compare it to. Against capsule machines, it is more upfront but dramatically cheaper per cup over time. Against cheaper espresso machines, the Primo's 58 mm portafilter and build quality mean you are not buying something you will want to replace in a year. We think it is the right entry point for someone serious about good espresso.
Will I outgrow it quickly?
Possibly, and that is fine. The Primo is designed to be a great first machine, not your last machine. If you find yourself wanting PID control and simultaneous steaming after six months, that is a sign you are ready for the Doppio — not a sign you made a bad choice.
Can I make latte art with it?
Technically yes, but it is difficult. The single boiler means you steam after brewing, so the espresso cools while you texture milk. Basic frothed milk for cappuccinos works well. Instagram-quality latte art is a stretch. If milk drinks are your daily priority, consider the Doppio.
